The weather has turned to heavy rain, but I&#8217;m hoping it clears up soon.  Walking to work in the pouring rain is no fun&#8230; the water always manages to get to you somehow. <\/p>\n<p>The time off has been nice &#8211; I&#8217;ve been able to catch up on all kinds of things.   I&#8217;m actually considered a part-time employee at work, they are really only supposed to have me working for 35 hours a week.  In reality, I put in about 40 hours a week.  I&#8217;m not making a big deal out of it, and times like this are nice ways to get some of that back.  <\/p>\n<p>More details are emerging on the trip to Australia this December.  We are getting close to buying my ticket.  There may be a chance for me to have a couple of day layover in Seoul, Korea &#8211; it would be a good opportunity to explore a little, and the ticket is much cheaper.  I understand that the hotel and food is really inexpensive there, so it would be fun.
