Mondays are already Kuniko’s toughest day, and now they are my busiest day as well. In addition to a full morning of Mitsubishi classes I have a new set of classes at Kawasaki on Monday evenings. That means coming back for a short break at home and then off to Kawasaki for a couple hours in the evening. <\/p>\n
Late Sunday night\/early Monday morning a huge storm came through dumping tons of rain – loud enough to wake us both up in the middle of the night. The next day was cloudy and rain was coming and going, but still very hot. That meant there was a lot of humidity in the air, and it made Monday even more exhausting. Walking around in a business suit through the soup-like weather is not my favorite part about living in Japan. <\/p>\n
By the time I got home late at night I was covered in sweat. When I first came to Japan it was weather like this that had me convinced I would never last the summer, let alone a whole year. Here I am still bitching about it six years later.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
