It&#8217;s nice to have plenty of time to get organized, but I&#8217;m sure we&#8217;ll manage to forget something.  <\/p>\n<p>Last night we worked on killing off the huge pile of ja-ja men that I made the other day.  I really went a little too far with quantity, and we ended up with two meals out of it.  Tonight I think it will be Kuniko&#8217;s turn to cook, so it&#8217;ll be nice to have a break from the spicy noodles. <\/p>\n<p>One of the things I&#8217;m going to bring on the trip is a mini-journal to write down my thoughts and notes from each day.  I think we&#8217;ll have some time on the train here and there, so it seems like a good idea to write down a summary of our adventures as soon as possible.  A long time ago on a trip to England and Scotland I did much the same thing, and it is fun to look through it now.  It is amazing how some jotted notes is a notebook can bring back such vivid memories.  <\/p>\n<p>All right, I&#8217;m off to work.
