Last night I had the place to myself after work, so I came home and had a couple of grilled quesadillas and caught up with Mad Men. It has been a long time since there was a TV show for me to watch – the last one was the Lost finale, so it is just Mad Men to keep me occupied until Survivor and\/or Amazing Race start up.<\/p>\n
At work yesterday one of my students invited me to join a company event that is being held on Friday evening after work to celebrate the start of the long Obon holiday. There is one free beer per person, some B level singers and entertainers performing, and it is sponsored by the labor union for the factory workers. Sounded interesting, so I thought I would drop by. Free beer, after all.<\/p>\n
By the looks of the bedroom I think Kuniko is pretty much packed for the trip, but I haven’t really started quite yet. I’ve gathered a few important materials – that’s it.
