Thankfully, neither of them involved the train I was riding on.  But it did result in a lot of delays, and my train was crammed with people on the way home.  <\/p>\n<p>And I mean crammed &#8211; people at each stop tried to squeeze themselves in, while people already on board the train cried out &#8220;It&#8217;s impossible!&#8221; and &#8220;Just wait for the next one!&#8221;.  I found myself squeezed next to a beautiful woman who smiled at me even though my elbow was pointed right at the back of her head.  All in all, a pretty traumatic experience. <\/p>\n<p>So it was wine time when I got home.  Kuniko made her special nikujaga recipe (without the niku) and also some saut\u00c3\u00a9ed eggplant with mirin that turned out really nicely.
