The restaurant also had an interesting system for the bill. You can choose either 30% off your food bill, or all your drinks are just 100 yen. We picked the 100 yen option – I think it was the obvious choice. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I never saw the bill so I can’t figure out if it was a good deal or not. <\/p>\n
After dinner it wasn’t even discussed – we just went straight to karaoke. I had been there with almost the same crowd, and this time we sang a little bit less, and talked about medical coverage and welfare a little more. Kind of an older crowd, so it was a popular topic. I picked Simple Minds’ “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” to sing, and it was a big hit.
