I wrapped up a short week yesterday with a quick trip to the local tachinomi to have a few drinks with one of my former students. \u00a0He is continuing to study English by writing me an email every morning at work in English, and then I correct it and send it back. \u00a0Since we’ve really only corresponded by email for the past year and a half, I thought it would be fun to meet up and talk face to face. \u00a0We enjoyed some beer and wine, a couple of light dishes, and then headed home.<\/p>\n
Now we are just finishing packing, and getting ready to do some last minute shopping before heading to Kansai airport. \u00a0We’ll fly first to Seoul, and then after a brief stopover we’ll be flying on to Honolulu through the night. \u00a0Our job is to try to get some sleep on the plane – something I have had trouble with in the past. \u00a0Maybe I can get some wine into my system and crash out.<\/p>\n
So we’ll check back in a couple of weeks. \u00a0Can’t wait to relax and spend some time with the Underwoods!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
