It is Tuesday morning, and I just wrapped up a nice three day holiday weekend. \u00a0Saturday and Sunday we got plenty of exercise hiking around the area. \u00a0Our timing turned out to be quite good, as yesterday the rains started, and continue through today. \u00a0Unfortunately because of the rains we were confined to home, and I was getting a little stir-crazy. \u00a0The humidity is also high, and the temperature continues to be in the mid-30’s, even in September. \u00a0Ick.<\/p>\n
Today Kuniko has the day off, and so she’ll be taking care of some errands around town and enjoying one last day of relaxation before heading to work tomorrow. \u00a0Lucky girl!<\/p>\n
Last Friday night after work we met at a brewpub in Motomachi. \u00a0It is called Rokko Beer Diner, and they had about eight beers on tap. \u00a0Their beer lineup was pretty good (I liked the Raoho, flavored with smoky hops) and the atmosphere was not bad, just a little small. \u00a0I think I’ll go again in the future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
