So today is a big day for Yuki Yamaji – he’s headed off to the airport to fly to San Francisco. \u00a0My folks are welcoming him at the gate and he’ll become an honorary Fredricks for three or four days before starting school in SF. \u00a0I’m sure he’s going to have a great time, and it’ll be a good chance for him to improve his English. \u00a0I have a feeling while he is gone we’ll get a lot more invites over to the Yamaji household – now they’ve got an empty nest.<\/p>\n
At work yesterday I said goodbye to my top English class. \u00a0They are the ones that tried hard every class, kept speaking English even when I left the room, and had great chemistry. \u00a0I’m going to miss those guys! \u00a0Today I’ll wrap up my last group lesson of the term, and then the last time I’ll see everyone is during their final presentation next week. \u00a0I hope that goes well!<\/p>\n
Finally, last night I received a package that I ordered from Amazon. \u00a0I set up a tiny computer underneath the TV, which over time will start to serve as a home theater PC. \u00a0I haven’t built a computer in a long time, but this was easy. \u00a0The hard part will be getting it to play nice with all the other equipment in the living room.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
