{"id":2623,"date":"2013-04-04T04:52:36","date_gmt":"2013-04-03T19:52:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bryan.fredricks.net\/blog\/?p=2623"},"modified":"2013-04-04T04:52:36","modified_gmt":"2013-04-03T19:52:36","slug":"the-tickle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bryan.fredricks.net\/blog\/?p=2623","title":{"rendered":"The Tickle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m at that weird stage where I feel 100%, but for some reason I can&#8217;t stop coughing now and then. \u00a0The little tickle in the back of my throat shows up when talking with students, resulting in lots of coughs during class. \u00a0Obviously that is not fun for me or my students. \u00a0An-noy-ing!<\/p>\n<p>Other than the tickle things are going pretty well. \u00a0I&#8217;ve finished meeting all my new students but one, and I think I&#8217;ve put together some good ideas on coursework for each of them. \u00a0I&#8217;m pretty pleased with their abilities at this stage, and I can&#8217;t wait to see what they can do after a few months of class time.<\/p>\n<p>Last night after work our timing wasn&#8217;t good and we couldn&#8217;t stop by Akashi park to see the cherry blossoms. \u00a0We ended up at the local yakitori instead, drinking beer and eating chicken on sticks. \u00a0Hopefully today we&#8217;ll get the timing right and head out there. \u00a0It really is our last chance to see cherry blossoms while they are still on the tree&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m at that weird stage where I feel 100%, but for some reason I can&#8217;t stop coughing now and then. \u00a0The little tickle in the back of my throat shows up when talking with students, resulting in lots of coughs during class. \u00a0Obviously that is not fun for me or my students. \u00a0An-noy-ing!
