It has been a while but it was interesting to come back and re-read this one. Even though it was written earlier in Stephen King\u2019s career you can see some of the trademarks of his writing, standing out more clearly when compared to his more recent work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I found that I didn\u2019t remember the ending as being quite so brutal (but it was) and I found myself more interested in the supernatural history of the \u201csemetary\u201d this time around. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reading this made me think that it would be good to go back and read \u201cThe Stand\u201d, which in its unabridged edition is a serious one month commitment for me to finish. Maybe after retirement? <\/p>\n\n\n\n
