I had a little surprise when my donut was actually stuffed with shrimp and mayonnaise &#8211; it wasn&#8217;t really a donut, more of a pastry.  Unexpected, but delicious!<\/p>\n<p>We gathered her stuff together and I walked her to Tsuchiyama station &#8211; she was heading over to Hoden station to meet up with her sister and go visit her folks for New Year&#8217;s.  I&#8217;ll be over there on New Year&#8217;s Day, so it&#8217;ll be fun to catch up with everybody.<\/p>\n<p>I went home and hit the books most of the day.  In the evening I watched a couple of Seinfeld episodes from the DVD that my brother sent.  Dinner was leftover patrol &#8211; fried rice, kimchee, and a quesadilla.  Weird combination, but that&#8217;s leftover night for you.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow I&#8217;m going to head over to Akashi for Mr. Komuri&#8217;s soba party.  He said that it will be noisy party, but I&#8217;m not sure what he meant by that.  It should be interesting.
