She&#8217;s on to me now, though, and recognizes me because I&#8217;m the big white guy that comes in every Sunday.  Instead of staring down at the register keys and avoiding eye contact, now she looks at me.  <\/p>\n<p>Outside there were a bunch of kids just hanging out and smoking.  The scene was remarkably similar to the 7-11&#8217;s in America.  <\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow I have a regular day of classes, then on Tuesday it&#8217;s a public holiday for the Autumnal Equinox.  Nice!  I haven&#8217;t decided what I&#8217;m going to do.  Melanie upstairs wants to go out and try the yakitori place with me, so I might do that.
