Getting Good at Asian Cooking

I think I’m finally getting the knack of cooking Southeast Asian dishes. After my success with dim sum last weekend, I thought I’d have a go at the leftovers last night, and came up with a Thai stir fry that I liked a lot. It was just shrimp, carrots, mushrooms, onion and leeks, and cilantro, but it turned out better than I expected.

June will be a very busy month for Kuniko. She’ll have only one day off this month, so I think I’ll have a lot of opportunities to do some cooking. With the temperature rising and the rainy season rolling around any day now, I’ll have to think of some non-BBQ dishes to prepare.
