Two things came to an end this morning – one was my one-week old beard that I grew just to show Kuniko what I look with a beard. The review was positive, but summer is the wrong time for a beard so I shaved that off first thing this morning.
As for the other, I wrapped up the last paper for one of my classes, leaving just one more paper due in a week or so. It’s always a great feeling to submit a paper and know that you are finally finished with a course.
Today I’m teaching a class at Kawasaki, and so I’m going to have to plan a lesson this afternoon and then head over. I might meet up with one of my students after class for a beer – he’s a really nice guy and we walk back to the train station together after every class. I’m looking forward to finding a local drinking spot in Nishi Akashi – I don’t know anything about the neighborhood there.
