I woke up this morning from a dream that was unusually clear and easy to remember – full of details and even containing a dramatic lead-in, an action packed sequence and a cliffhanger at the end that nicely wrapped up a great introduction to the characters and the world they lived in. In short, it would make for an excellent first chapter of a fantasy novel. I’m hoping that tonight I get to dream the second chapter… I’m hoping my subconscious will let me see where this goes.
It’s Tuesday afternoon and I’m rocking the (empty) house while cooking some curry for tonight’s dinner. Tonight is my favorite TV show of the week (London Hearts), and hopefully Kuniko will get home in time to watch it with me.
It is hard to believe that the month is already wrapping up. Next month we’ll be doing even more entertaining as summer is getting ready to kick off. We’re hoping to have Antoine and Miwako over, as well as some of my ex-students from Mitsuboshi Belt and some teachers from Kuniko’s school. I’ll try to get pictures and blog the parties – there should be plenty of good stories to tell.
