We’re wrapping up the week today, and I think Kuniko has a pretty exciting day and weekend… mine is pretty boring by comparison. Yesterday some students and a teacher came to Japan from their sister school in New Zealand, so today and tomorrow Kuniko will help them attend the school, do some sightseeing, and generally try to smooth things out.
Tomorrow there is a culture festival at her school that will give everyone something to do. I’ve decided to skip the culture festival this year and stick around here at home doing chores, however. Pretty much the opposite of excitement. I guess I’m saving my energy for the wine tasting this Sunday…
Tonight should be pretty quiet – Kuniko wants to rest up before going to work on Saturday, so I’ve cancelled plans for the disco ball, DJ party and tequila shooters.
Well… maybe we’ll do the shooters.
