Today and tomorrow I caught a couple of days off. I don’t want to brag, but they are with pay as well. Turns out that the contract I signed for this job had a few loopholes, and I’m sailing through them right now.
Next term’s students begin class on Monday of next week, and this term’s students finished yesterday. So in between I have no students to teach. I’m staying home for the most part today since the weather is rainy, but hopefully the weather will improve tomorrow and I can get a day trip in. Haven’t decided the destination, but the sky is the limit. I’m considering Kyoto right now, but nothing is set, and I might end up going the other way towards Hiroshima. Either way I’ll take along my camera and get some good pics while I’m out.
This is also a good time to let my brain reset a little bit. Teaching nine classes a day can wear you down after a while, so these breaks are a welcome rest from the normal routine.
