I came home yesterday evening to find the soil in the indoor herbs completely dried out, and the greens already starting to wilt. I left them soaking wet yesterday morning, and in one day they drank all that water and wanted more. I soaked them again, and we’ll see what the situation is tonight. I may have to rethink this indoor herb thing…
Weather is getting cooler, and that means a much more comfortable experience going to and coming back from work. Fall is definitely here, and it feels great!
Today I’m going to possibly meet one of the inspectors for a couple of drinks after work. He is taking an early flight to Singapore tomorrow morning, so we’ll see about whether we go drinking or not – he’s still got to pack for the trip. Kuniko has a half day of work today, so I think she’ll have a relaxing afternoon at home, and there might even be some okonomiyaki waiting for me when I get home…
