There was an announcement from the Japan Post Office the other day saying that as of today, they will not accept packages over 1 pound to the United States. Talk about a bummer.
That means that I can’t send Christmas presents to family in America this year. Luckily, I’ll be going to California for Christmas, but it seems that I’ll be lugging a lot more on the plane.
Hopefully, they’ll figure out a way around this strange law, but until then I guess we’ll have to send very light Christmas cards instead…
