Books: The Million Pound Banknote by Mark Twain

Really just a short story, but a fun one. The power of money extends beyond what you can simply buy, and the author pokes a bit of fun at this.

This story was recommended in a list of books about heists and cons, and while it is sort of a con it doesn’t quite fit the definition that I had in mind. Still, very entertaining and surprisingly on point given its age.

Next I am reading The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson.
