Last night for the first time this summer we were able to go to sleep with the windows open instead of using the air conditioner, and it felt great. I’m hoping that the weather will continue like this, but I’ve heard rumors that it will in fact heat up again before the end of the month. Ugh.
Friday is here, and I’ve got a busy day at work. Afterwards Kuniko and I will meet at home for dinner and take it easy tonight. Kuniko is back at work tomorrow, so she can’t party into the night. No such restrictions for me, though.
Last night Ms. Fukumi dropped by to give us a souvenir from her trip to Spain. That was a quick trip – but it sounded like she had a good time. We’ll have to get together soon and exchange travel stories.
Finally, we made a reservation for next Friday at our (current) favorite sushi restaurant – ãªã ã‚„ (Nadaya) in Sannomiya. I’ve been craving sushi since we got back from Europe, and we’ll do it right at the restaurant… sit at the counter and have the chef just deliver sushi until we’re full.
