One of the best parts of starting a new term is getting to know my new students. I’m really pleased with this term’s batch. They are highly motivated, slightly nervous, and exceptionally intelligent. In the past I’ve found this combination to be especially conducive to English speaking improvement.
We are coasting into the weekend, and I’m happy to be here. From next week things at work will get much busier, so I’m looking forward to the weekend to rest up. Tomorrow night Kuniko is forgoing a party with her coworkers to have a party with me at home, so we’re trying to think up what to have for dinner. Garlic? No problem. Too much alcohol? Probably. I’m not sure yet what we’ll have but I’m sure it will be decadent.
